What Dental Software Costs in Jordan (2026 Price Breakdown in JOD)
What a Jordanian dental clinic actually pays for software in 2026 — the subscription, the costs nobody quotes, and how the total changes as you add doctors.
Software pricing in this market is unhelpfully vague. Local vendors quote after a call, international products quote in dollars for features a Jordanian clinic will never use, and nobody publishes what a two-chair clinic in Amman ends up paying per month.
This is a direct breakdown: what the subscription costs, what else you pay for, how the number moves as the clinic grows, and how to judge whether it is worth it.
The subscription itself
Cloud dental platforms in Jordan are priced per month, per doctor. The realistic entry point in 2026 is around 15 JOD per month for a single-doctor clinic on a plan that covers appointments, online booking, patient records, treatment plans and patient reminders.
Clinvo prices this explicitly. The Clinic plan is 15 JOD per month for the first doctor and 10 JOD per month for each additional doctor. The Smart plan is 30 JOD for the first doctor and 10 JOD per additional doctor, adding analytics and KPIs, deeper follow-up automation, and a larger AI assistant allowance. Annual billing costs ten months for twelve. There is no contract.
So a solo dentist pays 15 or 30 JOD a month. A three-doctor clinic pays 35 JOD on Clinic or 50 JOD on Smart. That is the whole number — no licence, no server, no maintenance contract.
How the cost moves as the clinic grows
Per-doctor pricing is what makes small clinics viable customers. A one-doctor clinic pays a one-doctor price, and the cost only rises when the clinic itself has grown enough to pay it.
On Clinvo's Clinic plan: one doctor 15 JOD, two doctors 25 JOD, three doctors 35 JOD, five doctors 55 JOD per month. On Smart: 30, 40, 50 and 70 JOD respectively. Front-desk staff, assistants and clinic managers are not charged as doctors.
Compare that against systems priced per user, where every receptionist added to the system raises the bill. That distinction matters more over three years than the headline monthly price.
The real cost of installed systems
Traditional installed software is sold as a licence, often a few hundred dinars once, plus an annual maintenance fee. On paper it can look cheaper than a subscription over five years. In practice the licence is the smallest line.
You need a computer or small server that stays on and gets replaced every few years. You need backups, and someone who actually verifies them. You pay a technician for updates, reinstalls and the day the machine will not boot. You lose working hours when it fails, and you cannot see the schedule from outside the clinic. None of this appears in the quote, and all of it is real money.
The version of this cost people underestimate most is downtime. A clinic that cannot access its schedule for half a day loses more revenue than several months of subscription.
Is it worth it? The arithmetic
Take the most conservative possible case. A clinic with a 10% no-show rate seeing 100 appointments a month loses ten slots. If an average appointment is worth 30 JOD, that is 300 JOD of empty chair time monthly.
Automated WhatsApp reminders sent the evening before, with a same-morning nudge, typically recover a meaningful share of that. Recovering even one appointment a month covers the Clinic subscription twice over. Recovering three covers the Smart plan for a three-doctor clinic.
That is before counting the front-desk hours no longer spent phoning patients, the recalls that stop being forgotten, and the clinical notes that get finished during the appointment instead of after hours.
What to budget
A new solo clinic: 15 JOD per month for software, plus your imaging hardware's own software, plus a domain if you want a custom clinic website address. Budget under 25 JOD a month total for the software layer.
An established two-to-four doctor clinic that wants analytics and automation: 40 to 60 JOD per month. Still less than a single day's revenue for most clinics that size.
A multi-branch group: request custom Enterprise pricing rather than stacking per-doctor plans, so you get per-branch reporting and permissions in one arrangement.
Do not pay before you test with your own data
Every claim above is testable for free. Clinvo's 21-day trial requires no credit card, and it is long enough to load your real patients, run a full appointment cycle, send real reminders and see the no-show number for yourself.
If a vendor will not let you test with your own data before payment, treat the price as irrelevant — you cannot evaluate what you have not run.
